The construction material is 6061 aluminum, which is a light, strong and rust resistant alloy. The fasteners are made of 304 stainless steel. The cradles use ¾ EVA foam and are covered by Sunbrella or Olefin outdoor fabric. The tube is powder coated.
What are the requirements to install a Celo Rack on my vehicle?
Your vehicle must have a set of sturdy and stiff crossbars. We recommend using reputable brands such as Thule or Yakima, or solid OEM models.
How to assemble and install the rack?
For those picking up, the rack comes assembled and installation is included.
Otherwise, assembling and installation instructions are provided in the owner's manual.
A set of ½” or 13mm wrenches is required.
How to securely attach the boat to the rack/vehicle?
The cradles allow for quick fastening as shown in the photo.
Additionally, we highly recommend using tie loops to attach the front and the back of the vehicle’s front and back. They will securely attach the rack and the boat to the vehicle.

What are the pros and cons of using stainless steel fasteners?
Stainless steel is rustproof and allows for easy removal of the bolts and nuts. However, stainless steel may weld when overtightened and/or overheated. Do not use power tools or overtighten the nuts. We highly recommend the use of a liquid removable thread locker, which will help prevent welding and secure the nuts in place.
